It is expected that 70% of the Primary electorate will vote prior to Election Day with a significant portion within Week 1. 

Immediately, Across Arizona’s 1st Congressional District

  • Registered Democrats and unaffiliated voters who voted in at least one of the last three Democratic Congressional primaries (2020, 2022, or 2024)
  • Voters who have presidential primary vote history (2020 or 2024) and voted in two of the three last general elections 
  • Democratic Party Registrants since November 2024

Jonathan Treble is the only progressive candidate. He can be counted on to deliver on Medicare for All and hold the line with Democrats against Donald Trump. Marlene Galan-Woods and Amish Shah can not be trusted to stand up for the principles of the Democratic Party. We do not need another Kyrsten Sinema in Congress. 

Meanwhile Marlene Galan-Woods 

  • Is a self-described “lifelong Republican” who spent decades voting for and donating to Republicans who advanced anti-immigrant, anti-abortion, and anti-union legislation.
  • Supported Former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer after she signed SB 1070 into law. Donating the maximum amount and proudly standing on stage in support at the Brewer victory party in 2010. 

And Amish Shah 

  • Regularly worked with MAGA Republicans in the State House.
  • Shah championed a proposal to limit access to hormonal contraception. When it failed, he walked away from the final bill. 
  • Co-sponsored Republican legislation that would have made it easier to subject young LGBTQ Arizonans to conversion therapy. 
  • Democratic lawmakers who served with Shah said they could not trust him. 

The Jonathan Treble Story

Jonathan Treble was the first in his family to go to college and started a successful small business where he gives every employee a stake in his company. After a life-threatening illness, he had to fight with insurance companies to get the treatment he needed. That is why he will take on Trump to restore his cruel cuts to health care, fight big insurance and provide access to health care to all Americans through Medicare, stop ICE’s reign of terror and lower costs by ending Trump’s tariffs and the war in Iran.
